In November of 2013 I became a mom at the young age of 17. A moment that used to bring so much shame is now my biggest joy and proudest achievement. Throughout this journey I have come to realize there is no right or wrong path to Motherhood but it is surely the greatest path you can ever take and is worth documenting at every stage. Within the same month of finding out I would hold the title of  "16 and pregnant" my mom was also diagnosed with terminal cancer. These two life changing moments gave me a deep appreciation for what I do, as I believe there is nothing money can buy more valuable than documentation of those you love. Each photograph truly gains value as time passes and tells a story for future generations. I wish I had more photos of my oldest daughter in her early stages of life, more photos of my mom and more photos of them together. Not just for me but for my daughter who just faintly remembers her beloved Oma.

My background in the arts dates back to elementary school where my love for fine art began. Throughout the years I continued taking art classes both in and out of school at various establishments including Kendall College of Art & Deign and The Grand Rapids Art Museum. I still pursue my passion for sketching & the arts not just in my passionate career path but in my free time as well.

My family consists of my wonderful husband Theo, my oldest daughter Leah Grace, and our baby girl Veera Mae. Our family wouldn't be complete without our kitty Luna and our ever growing flock of chickens. We live in the heart of Rockford and often spend our evenings cheering Leah on in sports or supporting her in choir & theater performances.

I think as a family we can all agree our love language is quality time, whether it's seeing a movie, hitting the golf range, a game night in or trying a new restaurant.

We love the simple joy of just being together.
